Privacy Policy · Terms & Conditions · Licence & Usage Rights
The short version. The free courses and resources are yours to learn from, use at work and share with your team, as long as you keep our name on them and do not sell or republish them. Organisations that book training can use the materials internally for as long as they like. Anything you make with AI tools using what you learn here is yours. This page explains the detail.
This licence forms part of our Terms & Conditions. It applies unless your quote or a signed contract says otherwise, in which case those terms win. In this licence:
Open Resources. the free self-paced courses, lessons, cheat sheets, prompt packs, templates, glossary, tools, articles and course slides on this website, including the China Edition
Course Materials. the sessions, slides, handouts and exercises of the live online course
Workshop Materials. the slides, handouts, exercises, prompts and resources we provide to an organisation for a workshop, keynote, guest lecture or executive session
Custom Materials. material we create specifically for one organisation and list in its quote, such as a tailored prompt library, playbook or policy draft
Our Methods. Rupert’s frameworks, such as Act-Explain-Please, and our course structures, teaching methods, templates and know-how

Search engines and AI assistants are welcome to index this site and quote it with a link back to the page.
Your enrolment gives you a personal licence to use the Course Materials for your own learning and in your own work, without time limit. Please do not record sessions, or share session links, recordings or Course Materials outside your organisation.
When you have paid all amounts due, your organisation may:
Your organisation may not sell the Workshop Materials, share them outside the organisation, or use them to deliver training to other organisations. If you would like your own trainers to deliver the material, ask us about a train-the-trainer licence, which we quote separately.
When you have paid all amounts due, we assign to your organisation all copyright that we own in the Custom Materials. Our Methods and any Open Resources included in them are not part of this assignment, but your organisation may keep using them as part of the Custom Materials without time limit.
Our Methods remain the property of Film Me Pty Ltd. We may keep using and teaching them for anyone. We will never reuse your confidential information, internal documents or Custom Materials for another client.
Where we agree that a session can be recorded, your organisation may use the recording internally, for the same people and purposes as the Workshop Materials, without time limit. Recordings may not be published, broadcast or sold without our written agreement.
For keynotes and public events, the organiser may use Rupert’s name, photo and biography to promote the event. Live-streaming, publishing recordings or sharing the slides with the audience needs our written agreement first, and we will put any extra fee in your quote.
Anything you create with AI tools using what you learn here, such as prompts, documents, images, videos, code or apps, is yours as far as we are concerned. It is also subject to the terms of the AI tool you used.
Please be aware that Australian copyright law protects works with a human author. Material generated mainly by AI may not be protected by copyright, and the law in this area is still developing in Australia and elsewhere. Adding your own creative work, choices and editing makes your rights stronger. This is general information, not legal advice.
Some illustrative images on this site and in our slides are AI-generated. Screenshots of AI tools are included to teach how those tools work, and the tools’ names and logos belong to their owners. Our licence does not give you any rights in third-party material, such as tool logos, client logos or licensed stock images.
Under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth), creators have moral rights, including the right to be credited. Rupert asks to be credited as the author whenever our materials are used or adapted.
The text, design, graphics, courses, Rupert Chesman name and logo on rupertchesman.com belong to Film Me Pty Ltd. Client logos and names are shown to describe work we have carried out and belong to their owners.
If you need a different arrangement, such as a licence to include our material in your own paid course, a train-the-trainer licence or permission to publish a recording, get in touch. We will put it in your quote.
