Spotting a warning sign does not mean you have failed as a parent. AI is a new and rapidly evolving technology, and even adults struggle with healthy boundaries. The fact that you are reading this lesson and paying attention already puts you ahead.
The most important thing is to keep lines of communication open. Approach conversations with curiosity rather than accusation. A child who feels safe talking to you about their AI use is far better protected than one who learns to hide it.
