Midjourney is brilliant at conjuring images from nothing — but often you want to edit a real photo: swap the background, remove a distraction, fix the lighting, or restyle it entirely. That's where Nano Banana (Google's image model, in Google AI Studio) shines. You upload a photo and edit it by simply describing the change in plain English — no layers, no masking, no Photoshop.
