Key insight: All Deep Learning is Machine Learning, and all Machine Learning is AI — but not the other way around. A chess engine that uses hard-coded rules is AI but not ML. A spam filter that learns from data is ML but not necessarily Deep Learning. A system that uses neural networks with many layers to recognise faces is Deep Learning.
