Your First Hour with Claude
A fast-moving 60-minute intro that takes you from "I've heard of Claude" to "I've talked to it, watched it build a working app, and set it running on its own." The gentle on-ramp to the AI Learning Hub — no jargon, no setup pain, nothing assumed.
Learn It Live With Rupert
One relaxed, demo-driven hour over Google Meet — timed for Sydney lunchtime and Dubai/London mornings. It's the first of four free sessions this week, a test-run of a brand-new podcast setup. Come along, watch Claude in action, and ask anything.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any experience with AI to join?
None at all. This session is built for complete beginners. If you've never opened Claude, you're exactly who it's for — we start from the very beginning, with no jargon and nothing assumed.
Is it really free?
Yes — completely free. It's one of four free one-hour live sessions running this week as a test-run of a new podcast setup. Just sign up and join.
Do I need to install or pay for anything beforehand?
A computer and a Claude account are all you need, and Claude's free tier is perfectly fine to follow along. Installing the Claude desktop app beforehand means you can try Cowork and Scheduled tasks yourself, but it isn't required — you're welcome to just watch.
When is it on, and what are the timings?
Your First Hour with Claude runs Tuesday 23 June 2026, 1:00–2:00pm Sydney (7:00–8:00am Dubai, 8:00–9:00pm San Francisco the evening before). It's a single one-hour session.
What are the other sessions this week?
There are four free one-hour sessions: Tue 23 Jun — Your First Hour with Claude; Wed 24 Jun — Midjourney & video creation; Thu 25 Jun — Do your taxes with Claude Cowork; Fri 26 Jun — Build something with AI in an hour. All run 1:00–2:00pm Sydney.
Will it be recorded if I can't make it live?
Joining live is best — you can ask questions in real time. I aim to make a recording available to people on the mailing list, so sign up and let me know if you'd like the replay.
What will I be able to do afterwards?
You'll understand what Claude is and its three modes, you'll have had a real conversation with it, watched it build a working interactive app, seen it work on real files with Cowork, and seen it run a job automatically on a schedule — plus a clear sense of what to explore next.
How do I sign up?
Head to the live sessions page and add your email. You'll get the Google Meet link for the session (and the rest of the free series).
