Driving Employees Forward

You know when you’ve picked up ChatGPT, given it a go, and decided it’s a bit generic, fairly useless and not going to help you?

Chances are you weren’t using it the right way.  Prompt Engineering, a catch-all term for ‘how to talk to artificial intelligence’, is a developing art that requires you to be a combination of thesaurus, thinker and robot-whisperer.

It doesn’t take long to understand the basics.  Give me 30 minutes of your time, or that of your employees, and you’ll open your eyes wide to the possibilities of AI.  It can turn you into anyone, anytime, and drive you forward in ways you can’t even imagine.

And yes, I can get you a long way in just 30 minutes.

Who Am I?

A Londoner at heart who’s lived in China, Tokyo, Dubai, Paris and Sydney, with a traveller’s instinct that has taken me to over 70 countries around the world.  I speak English, Japanese and French, as well as multiple other languages to some level, including Mandarin, Arabic, Spanish, German and Indonesian.

Filming and directing high-end videos has brought me into the offices of countless CEOs and royalty, including filming videos for Toyota, Nike, Swarovski, Chanel, GMC… you name it, when I lived in Dubai for ten years, I probably filmed it.  Working with CEOs required polite, firm explanations about what we’re filming and why, and taught me a lot about how to work with the wonderful mixture of people who work in the C-suite.

Now completely focussed on AI and its usage across industries, the relentless curiosity about life that taught me all these languages is now learning another one, the language of Artificial Intelligence.  I truly believe we are in the 4th Industrial Revolution, and this time I want to own the Mill, and help everyone I meet join in the benefits.

My Approach

AI can look overwhelming, like you’re an old dog trying to figure out a new trick.  It really isn’t that hard, you just need to learn how to talk to it properly.  I’ll sit with you, teach you what you need, and show you the way.  All you need is a short amount of my time to understand what it can do and where it can go.

Some details

What is AI?

AI is a branch of computer science that aims to mimic human intelligence. New tools such as ChatGPT have brought AI mainstream attention.

Is this just a tutorial about ChatGPT?

AI changes all the time, and just using ChatGPT can get you remarkable results – however if you want to go bigger you may need to think bigger. Using Plugins, API connections and other spells and potions, you can open up an amazing world.

How does AI work?

For context, most of us are actually talking about LLMs when referring to AI, as these are the things that power ChatGPT and other mainstream commercial applications. Oversimplifying significantly, by processing a huge corpus of data, LLMs can guess what word is likely to come next in a sequence.

Why should I talk to you?

I am living and breathing AI every day, using it in my work to explore new possibilities and to drive myself forward as much as I can. I love sharing information and enabling people on their AI journey.

Isn’t AI just a phase?

AI is here to stay, and can already automate over 25% of jobs according to Goldman Sachs, and is coming for up to 70% of jobs by 2030. It is time for you to understand the underlying technologies today, so that you can keep yourself ahead of the game.

What’s the difference between AI, Machine Learning and Deep Learning?

AI is the big broad concept of machines being able to process things in a way you’d consider ‘smart’. Machine Learning is a subset of AI that focusses on giving machines access to data to help themselves learn. Deep Learning uses neural networks several layers ‘deep’ to help learn from a lot of data.

Is AI going to take my job?

No, but someone using AI will.
